Q: What is Gamesdrop?

A: Gamesdrop is a games trade-in service, we differ from other companies by offering multiple payment methods and fast turnaround meaning you get your money quick.

Q: How do I find a price for my games?

A: Use the search box at the top right of this page or on the home page. You can search using the game title or barcode.

Q: Do you buy consoles?

A: Yes, consoles must be the UK version and include all leads/chargers. If you do not have the leads or charger please contact us for a quote. Original packaging is not required.

Q: How will I be paid?

A: We can pay you via a BACS transfer direct to your bank account, PayPal, cheque or Amazon.co.uk gift voucher. You will be asked your preferred payment method on the quote page.

Q: How do I know if you have received my games?

A: We send you an email when your package is received, you can also click the account button at the top of this page to check the status.

Q: When do I get my money?

A: As soon as we have received your games we will check the condition and test them, once processed we issue payments within 24 hours (no payments are issued at weekends). We will send you an email when payment has been issued.

Q: How do I send the games to Gamesdrop?

A: For large bundles or high value items we will arrange a free courier to collect your games. For single games or smaller bundles package your games and post them at the Post Office free of charge using our FREEPOST label.

Q: When you receive my games how do you know they were sent by me?

A: Once your quote is confirmed the Gamesdrop website will give you a reference number, please write this number on the package or print the confirmation page and include this inside.

Q: I do not have a printer can I write your address on the package?

A: No you must print the returns label, we can post a label to you if required.

Q: What happens if my package is lost by Royal Mail or your courier?

A: We only use insured postal services, if you package is lost it is insured for the full trade-in value that we have quoted. We will seek compensation on your behalf but please keep your post office/courier receipt safe in case a claim is required.

Q: Which game platforms does Gamesdrop buy?

A: We buy most games for current platforms including PS3, PSP, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Wii, DS and 3DS, we also buy games for certain older systems including PS2, PS1, Xbox, Gamecube, N64, SNES and GBA. We do not buy PC games or mac games.

Q: Does Gamesdrop buy DVD movies?

A: We currently buy Blu-Ray movies, at present we do not buy music CDs or DVD movies.

Q: Can I send you more than one game?

A: Yes there is no limit. If you have multiple copies of the same game please contact us before posting.

Q: What happens if my disc is scratched?

A: We do not accept discs that are cracked, bent, dented or damaged on the label side of the disc. We accept discs with any amount of scratches but badly scratched or "laser burn" discs will have £1.50 deducted from your offer price.

Q: What happens if the manual is torn or missing?

A: We deduct £1 from our offer price for badly damaged or missing manuals, minor creases are accepted.
